Ferry sheds light on the top real estate issues impacting professionals today and gives a preview of some trends covered at the event.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Market perception:<\/strong> &#8220;Smart agents have stopped complaining about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/the-first-real-test-of-mortgage-rates-will-they-hit-8\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">market<\/a>,&#8221; Tom notes. &#8220;They see it for what it is, recognizing the vast commission opportunities, especially in the combined U.S. and Canada market.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proximity in marketing:<\/strong> Tom emphasizes the evolution of the market. &#8220;The heart has changed. The key to success in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/articles\/kw-mega-team-leader-laurie-reader-talks-lead-gen-strategies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">marketing<\/a> is proximity. He believes every real estate professional, from agents to brokers, needs a strategy for AI. &#8220;It&#8217;s essential for improving operations, cutting costs, and enhancing marketing,&#8221; he notes. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Branding:<\/strong> &#8220;Successful agents and teams have an established brand that resonates in the market,&#8221; Tom points out. &#8220;In contrast, agents struggling often lack a clear brand promise.&#8221; He sees a trend indicating a gravitation towards proven brands, especially post-pandemic.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Team dynamics:<\/strong> Discussing the dynamics of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/articles\/productivity-report-the-data-on-real-estate-agents-vs-teams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teams in real estate<\/a>, Tom mentions, &#8220;It&#8217;s either go big or stay small.
